Chips and Hardware Standards

This page contains information about certain hardware standards and special ICs I use in my designs.

  • ICs
    • CRTC Information on the CRTC (Cathode Ray Tube Controller) video chip, with additional information about the differences between the 6545, 6845 and others.
    • MMU 74LS610 Description of the 74LS610 TTL chip. This chip implements the MMU in my CS/A65 computer. A replacement board for the IC is available.
  • Standards
    • SCSI Information on the SCSI standard I use to connect harddisks to my computers.
    • I2C Information on the I2C standard I use in my computers.
    • SPI Information on the SPI standard I use in my computers.
